Use Your Everyday Skills to Make a Difference

The Problem: Small businesses are the backbone of local economies, yet too many struggle to access the resources they need to survive and thrive. They are working hard, often feeling isolated, without a strong circle of support. When businesses fail, Main Streets look uninviting, jobs are lost, and the economic growth slows.

Our Solution: Together, we can help pave the way for a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem. Volunteering to support a small business owner is a unique opportunity to use your professional skills and make a meaningful difference.  Your expertise and experience can  help a business owenr move to the next level.

 You  get to:

Apply your knowledge, sharpen problem-solving, and drive results
Utilize specialized skills in a new context
Contribute to a tangible, positive outcome and see immediate results

We provide tools, templates, and insights that enable you to get to work, have impact, and make a difference.

What Volunteers Say About The Experience...

“It is just as rewarding for me as it is for the business owner that I partner with. I love knowing they are walking away with resources and insight that will be extremely beneficial.”

“We had several laughs and (most importantly) got lots done in an hour Paula is up to her waist in ideas, but that's what we came for.”  - Simone H.

About Capital Circles

Capital Circles is a place-based model designed to address the long-standing problem of unequal access to capital. The initiative brings urgent, focused attention to both the supply and demand sides of the capital access challenge by creating scalable, relationship-based funding pathways.

We are committed to building a "Circle of Support" around our local entrepreneurs that includes mentorship, strategic guidance, and crucially, access to check-writers. This volunteer opportunity is designed to create connections between local entrepreneurs and business professionals who are committed to supporting the local ecosystem. Our goal is for business owners to gain the knowledge and confidence they need to take their businesses to the next level.

We want you to be part of that circle.  Sign up now to learn more and be the first to receive program updates.
